Google AdSense is one of the most strict yet profitable ad networks. Yeah, their requirements are not really toxic like Mediavine’s 50,000 Monthly sessions requirements or Outbrain’s 10 million monthly page views requirements, but they’re not straightforward when it comes to Getting Your Blog Approved.

Unless your blog is an established or well-branded site, you need to put in the work to get Adsense approval. And by work, I mean publishing useful, Unique articles.
If your site is well-built structurally and has a good number of posts with high-quality content, then you wouldn’t have to worry about getting your Adsense application approved.
In our previous guide, we covered the steps to achieve faster Google AdSense approval. If you’re confident about those guidelines, consider this section a helpful refresher and a quick reference to troubleshoot any potential issues that might arise during your Google AdSense approval process.
In this section of this guide, let’s see how you can get yourself out of the three major reasons for Adsense disapproval.

Low Content Value: How to Fix It
When applying for Google Adsense, it might be incredibly difficult. Worse yet, you’ve been waiting for weeks and eventually receive an email stating that your request has been denied due to “low content value.”
I’d like to point out that over the course of four months, Google Adsense rejected me nearly five times. “Low Content Value” was responsible for two of the five causes. But with a lot of effort, I was able to overcome it, and I’d like to share what I’ve learned.
While the Adsense team at Google does not provide detailed details in every instance, there are a few things you can do to resolve the problem.
One of Google Adsense’s approval criteria, believe it or not, is that your site must have a particular amount of content, all of which must be unique and valuable.
It’s critical to realize that “low content value” can refer to a variety of things. Perhaps Google is attempting to be as generic as possible because providing a detailed explanation for each circumstance would use a significant amount of resources and also give away their secret weapons to scrutinize publishers’ content for originality before approval.

Here are possible instances of why your Adsense application was rejected due to low content value:
- The contents on your site are somewhat plagiarized from other sources
- They’re of no value to users.
- You’re just a carbon copy of what other sites are doing.
- Your site has a high bounce rate
- You keep reinventing the wheel.
- The contents on your site don’t meet up to the standards of your competitors, and so can’t rank.
- You have a small amount of content on your website.
- You’re always found reinventing the wheel.
- You’ve got a lot of scraped content on your site.
How to Fix “Low Content Value”
It’s simple: Create really helpful and useful content on your site. They should be of high quality and detailed as well. According to experts, articles of 1000+ words tend to do well.
If you can have about 20 unique articles with 1,000 words or more, I can guarantee your Adsense account will be approved if you satisfy other requirements. Thin Content: How to Fix
The violation, “Thin Content”, is closely related to “Low-value content.” However, the main problem is that Google’s definition of “thin Content” isn’t the actual “thin,” as you Know.

It could have several other meanings, like “Your site doesn’t have enough content,” or the “word counts on your posts are really small,” or “You have some empty categories.”
Below are some reasons why your site was rejected due to “Thin contents” and how to fix them.
- Thin Affiliate Pages: If you’re an affiliate marketer who wants to promote products through a website, you shouldn’t just go off to make poor landing pages unless you don’t want to be approved by Google. Always make sure your affiliate pages are very informative and detailed, as well.
- Little to No Contents: Google demands that you have a relative amount of content on your website before seeking to monetize your website with Adsense. At Least 20-50 articles would do better.
- Articles that are not rich: It’s not all about having a lot of articles on your site. But are they rich, text-wise? Imagine having 200 words of articles and expecting to get approved with 20 articles; you won’t get approved. The ideal word count for articles should be around 1000 words above (not a rule for all).
- Scraped Contents: Even if your website has hundreds of articles. If they’re scrapped and plagiarised, Adsense won’t approve your application.
Policy Violation: How to Fix
Relative to getting your site approved for Adsense, “policy violation” is one of the most difficult situations in this section. When Adsense says policy violation, it is generic; it could mean many things.
It could be that your site has violated one of their policies or another (your site isn’t just authentic).
Anyway, here are my proven personal tips on how to fix policy violations:
- Eliminate all plagiarized, scraped, or copy-and-paste articles on your website.
- If your website contains copyrighted materials, remove them.
- Copyrighted images and uploads, in general, might lead to disapproval. So, in essence, avoid or get rid of them.
- Movies, Songs, Torrents, apks, and hacking sites are usually not approved. And this is basically because of copyrighted materials.
- Websites with adult content won’t get approved
Also:
- Add a well-detailed and accurate “About Us” Page to your website.
- Ensure you have a Privacy Policy page, Disclaimer Page, Contact Us page, and the earlier said About Us page.
- Traffic isn’t required, but it can fasten your approval rate.
- Create high-quality articles with at least 1000 words
The primary key to getting your Adsense account approved is to make your site as authentic as possible. Because that’s why they do what they do.
